There are different rules that apply when two or more people rent a place. The type of lease you have will depend on the relationship between you and the landlord, as well as the relationship between you and your roommates. (a) The lessee may transfer or sublet the premises to another person with the agreement of the lessor. If this rental agreement is concluded for a fixed period of 6 months or more, or if it is used exclusively for the rental of a manufactured homepad, the lessor may not arbitrarily or unreasonably refuse consent to the assignment or sublease. In the context of a contract, a new tenant must assume all the rights and obligations arising from the existing lease at equal rent. The lessor may not, directly or indirectly, collect a fee or receive a service for the granting of such consent. (a) order that a lease be terminated on a date other than that set out in the notice of termination of the lease or (3) In the event of termination of a lease, other than a notice under section 45(3) [Tenant`s notice: breach of a substantial time limit by the lessor], 46 [Notice by the lessor: non-payment of rent] or 50 [tenant may terminate the tenancy prematurely]. if the effective date indicated in the notification is a different day from the day preceding the date of the month or during the other period on which the lease is based, such rent shall be paid after the lease, shall be deemed to be the day before the day of the month or other period on which the lease is based: that the rent is due in accordance with lease B.C. to rental rights that define the rights and obligations of the parties in the lease agreements. (c) the lessor provides domestic or related services under a written rental agreement and the registration is made for that purpose and in accordance with those conditions; (b) it would be inappropriate or unfair to the owner or other occupants of the dwelling to wait for the entry into force of a dismissal with a view to termating the rental agreement under Article 47 [Communication from the lessor: Reason]. If a tenant rents the prefabricated house themselves, the standard housing rental agreement applies. 29 (1) A lessor may not seize a rental unit subject to a lease agreement unless: “overconserving tenant” is a lessee who, at the end of the lessee`s lease, continues to live in a rental unit.
